.old tech .dead tech is a collection of dvd and cd scans i've made. my aim is to compile all discs i own here, so this may become a shrine to this almost absolete form of digital content storage. while music cd's are still relatively mainstream and continue to be produced, dvd's have become rarer and rarer to come by due to the avaibility of streaming. long are the days when i could browse through whole isles of film and series in dvd and blueray... regardless, i find value in them still, not only are they nostalgic, it's i actually own and my ability to watch or listen to it isn't subject to netflix, spotify or amazon's whims. i also just find them fun to look at.
